Happy Birthday Geoff
Its the OH's birthday today he has managed by the skin of his teeth managed to make it through to the pivotal age of 60 years - how we are not sure - some of the things he comes out with.
He works with a group of like minded people at Hotpoint and he had asked for no fuss on Friday but came in to his desk decorated to high heaven and this birthday cake. So I think a right royal fuss was made of him at work. I had offered to take him for a meal but he does not seem interested. I hope he changes his mind as we have one or two quite good eateries locally.
Anyway here is the cake
My Mumm had made him a fruit cake but he did not bring any home but shared it out at work. Mind you she makes a mean fruit loaf and fruit cake.
All that remains is for me to wish Geoff - my OH many happy returns of the day and hope the day is everything you want it to be.
