Too Hot for Coffee

Well it is in this weather so why not serve it iced.  It makes a refreshing change.

Make some strong coffee using about 4 heaped tablespoons of coffee to 1 1/2 pints of water.  While it is still hot sweeten to taste.  Cool the mixture down and then chill.

Pour into glasses add a couple of cubes of ice and top with whipped cream


Make a coffee milkshake smoothie - I have a smoothie blender which I pop the mixture into  - sorry I tend to do things by sight so I add the milk and then the coffee until the milk is the colour I want it the darker the colour the stronger the mixture.  Add a couple of scoops of ice cream and blend until the mixture is nice and thick.

Drink and enjoy.
