Good morning
I slept well last night - I am always tired and very hungry after I have been working but nevertheless I have still been up since 6:00am enjoying the peace and quiet of this glorious morning. It was warm then and is slowly getting warmer looks like a lovely day just hope it does not get too hot. Have been pottering about and not long stopped for a cup of tea for myself and Missy and then am going to crack on with some of the jobs I have in hand for today. I also have some washing to do. Most of the chores are house-based and not garden based today so I really do need to get a wriggle on.
I am meeting my friend for lunch and then it will be back to the grind as we are going to the local tip this evening so I have a lot of work to do before then and then I will need to sort something out for this evening's tea. He did not get Sunday dinner yesterday because of me gallivanting so need to make up for that today. He has gone off salad a bit in the last few days so may well do a roast for him.
Missy is comfortable at the moment she is under the fans and fast asleep.
Right I had better get a wriggle on cuppa time over.

Oh my goodness, I didn’t realise you did readings. Is this something you could make a living from or a hobby? Sorry if that’s a daft question but I don’t know much about readings as you can probably guess. I’ve been busy like you going to the tip with stuff but people keep giving me more-very kind but nearly makes me want to wail-no more-sometimes.
ReplyDeleteHi Catriona, I am a Legal Secretary/PA by trade but in my private life I am also a Medium and a Reiki Master. I have had spirit with me since I was a child and then I was closed off by spirit as I was developing too quickly. Eighteen years or so ago I became involved again and have been a Work In Progress since then. This year the readings on a mediumistic level have come to the fore although I have skills in both psychic and medium levels. It is something I am looking to do as a job on a self-employed basis along with a couple of other things as well and I am hoping once I have had a rest, and got myself and the house together a bit to do both the Reiki healing and Mediumship readings at home. It is something I have always had in mind that I would like to do and have a go at but because of working full time was not in a position to do. Spirit sorted that and did not give me a choice as the situation where I worked came totally out of the blue and completely knocked all the girls for six. Basically I did not see it coming and I don't think I was intended to. Basically I know that spirit orchestrated it as a visiting medium who knew nothing of my circumstances confirmed that information independently to me. So it is very much a synchronistic event. I am going to try and earn a living this way. It will not be easy but will be a whole new learning curve and it will either be very successful or situation that will develop and adapt to suit the needs of my style of mediumship and also those of the clients. It is completely new territory for me and I think will stretch me a lot but if it means that I am my own boss rather than having to work for another company then I will. It may be that I may have to go into full time work in any event, but if I can avoid that and take advantage of the situation that has been presented to me then I hope to do that. I also have been informed by the external medium that I will go on to study and gain further qualifications. I have a friend who is a very good Spiritual Teacher and who when I get myself sorted a little more I am going to approach as this will be another string to my bow so to speak. At this point in time it is very much dip my toe in the water job. My updated business cards have just arrived as well so that is another thing off the check list but have other things to do. My friend who I met at lunch was pleased that I had started to do something, but I am having to do this at my own pace. To tell you the truth I am quite enjoying being at home, but I am quite realistic in that it does no pay the bills. If you want to know a little more about mediumship I will pop up a post about this to try and explain the differences. However I do not want to foist this on anybody at any point. It is who I am and it is part of me and to deny it would be to lie about myself some of the situations I have had and experiences which I cannot do. If it is something that people are happy to know more about then I am happy to pop up a post. However if there is no interest then I will leave it at that.
ReplyDeleteOther peoples kindness knows no bounds so if anybody gives me anything I always accept it on the grounds that if I find it does not fit in with whatever I have that it will be rehomed, usually to the charity shop.
