I absolutely adore ginger....Hi Rowan and Elizabeth

I absolutely adore ginger. However what I don't always like are the prices you have to pay to either try something or buy it so if I do buy something different it is usually with an ulterior motive involved and I try and work out what's in it and whether I can turn my hand to something similar. I have a go and each time I do I learn something. Elizabeth I am just a very plain simple cook, but I do appreciate good food. Good food served simply often speaks far louder and is more pleasurable than something that is supposed to be exotic and which fails miserably on delivery. My OH absolutely adores cheese as do I (it transpires that mymum got a craving for Gorgonzola cheese which she had never tried when she was carrying me, got fixated on it and the rest they say is history), result I absolultey adore cheese and Cinnamon.... Even the cats in this household fight you for a bit of chese and chips! I just love cooking and playing - I get a lot of pleasure from cooking. Cooking in its truest form is showing you care for your loved ones by feeding them and giving them a big hug without them realising it. So everyone of us who has a go (and it really does not matter whether you are a brilliant cook or a novice) is really showing their family and friends that they are cared for.

Take care dear friends

Pattypan

xxPattypanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10533048669555871726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7703817848238285099.post-76159850464137295002009-11-10T17:56:16.194+00:002009-11-10T17:56:16.194+00:00That sounds delicious, especially the cinnamon ice...That sounds delicious, especially the cinnamon ice cream with the mulled pears in wine. Wow, I'm not even much of an ice cream person. Your OH doesn't care for cinnamon!? My husband doesn't like CHEESE! WHO doesn't like CHEESE? These two must have a malfunction in their taste buds! Have you ever considered selling any of your culinary masterpeices? You sound like the most excellent cook I have heard of!Elizabeth Rhiannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07910474336835656519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7703817848238285099.post-49254682149011201022009-11-10T07:53:06.525+00:002009-11-10T07:53:06.525+00:00This sounds gorgeous - I love ginger anything! This sounds gorgeous - I love ginger anything!Rowanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13679130612798888266noreply@blogger.com
