Truth be told I was not at all keen on...Hello Faye<br /><br />Truth be told I was not at all keen on the idea but was very pleasantly surprised when I tried them. I love them cut into chunks and roasted like roast potatoes and tossed in some dripping or just a little oil until they are caramelised but I must say cooking them in the microwave until they were soft for 12 minutes and then finishing them of in the oven until they were crisp I found them very satisfying and enjoyable on their own just with a dribbling of butter. I was a bit the same with pumpkin to start with but that is now a very firm fixture on the the menu I roast it like roast potatoes the same and always make sure that there is some in the freezer for Christmas dinner. I also buy the different varieties fresh. sometimes we don't like things because of the way they are cooked and often its just about finding the right recipe. Hope you are keeping well.
