I agree that all you can really do is be there if you are needed.Rowanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13679130612798888266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7703817848238285099.post-50230249811582084782011-06-23T07:14:53.327+01:002011-06-23T07:14:53.327+01:00Such sad news - I think just be there when needed....Such sad news - I think just be there when needed. Good idea of yours that we should be conscious of this disease and try to support it every day we can: my spare coins always go into the cancer research buckets.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7703817848238285099.post-70310163603248793552011-06-22T02:39:07.956+01:002011-06-22T02:39:07.956+01:00My thoughts are with you and your friend. My thoughts are with you and your friend.Bonnie Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10052974547161586063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7703817848238285099.post-64094186714581529062011-06-22T00:48:47.332+01:002011-06-22T00:48:47.332+01:00I'm sorry your friend has been diagnosed with ...I'm sorry your friend has been diagnosed with this awful disease. I think the best thing you can do is be there to listen and support as needed.
On the positive side, my dear friend and neighbour for the last 33 years was diagnosed early last year with breast cancer too. She had a lumpectomy and kemo, and has had the all clear. She continues to take some form of tablet medication each day and has her check-ups. Her Surgeon was confident they had removed all the problem from the off. It's not all doom and gloom, many women have a full recovery. Please pass on best wishes. Hugs for you both.
Rose HRose H (UK)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03502158211136467582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7703817848238285099.post-34108887146641322512011-06-22T00:06:33.214+01:002011-06-22T00:06:33.214+01:00Oh and mammagrams are free for those over 40 in Au...Oh and mammagrams are free for those over 40 in Aus. She is a young mum with two primary school age children. My heart breaks for her and her family. Lots of stress for them at this time.Kimmiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12284838618731232851noreply@blogger.com
