Everything was so expensive now, despite everyone saying officially prices haven't gone up. I think the supermarkets are keeping the prices of those items in the national grocery basket, or whatever the call the list that's used to judge price increases and inflation, as low as they can while whacking up others. The cola I drink has just gone up by 40%, coffee by 20%, dried pulses by 10-15%... everything seems to be creeping, or sometimes jumping, up at the moment. I would probably get a shock if I went into a butchers now!Fifitrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12327400913679058606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7703817848238285099.post-37331776032889324652021-03-09T10:21:06.445+00:002021-03-09T10:21:06.445+00:00Hi BB, there is no way I would have paid £60+ for ...Hi BB, there is no way I would have paid £60+ for it unless there were people coming for Christmas and then even then maybe not. There is still loads left so it will not go to waste. The meat was also very tasty.Pattypanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10533048669555871726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7703817848238285099.post-66774256458487422732021-03-09T07:34:13.471+00:002021-03-09T07:34:13.471+00:00That's a lovely joint of beef, but just as wel...That's a lovely joint of beef, but just as well it was reduced - crikey, for £60 I'd want half the steer!

At least it will last you several meals by the look of it, in various incarnations.Bovey Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13117332471600275100noreply@blogger.com
