Brghh its bloomin cold
Its freezin here this evening, it was cold last night but eeh by gum its even colder. In fact weather forecast wasn't discounting snow, overnight, but will have to wait and see. I said in the summer that I thought this year was going to be another hard winter too many berries in the bushes, and it reminded me of the winter just after my brother was born when we had a dreadfully bad winter. I hope not, but I have been hurting a lot so far and we are not even into winter proper as it were yet. I think the thermals are going to have to come out of the closet. Missy's under the blanket again and the heating is on. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

We have just had two lovely days, but a North wind is blowing and our forecast is for snow this coming weekend. It gets dark so early these nights too. There is a ornamental cherry tree in my neighbours back garden and there is not much fruit on it so.... I am hoping we will have a mild Winter. So glad I have cental heating etc.

My friend Sandi was saying yesterday that the people who know (ie people who watch the signs and have kept records for years)have forecast another hard winter. There seems to be a chance of snow here as well today - time will tell. Time to get out wool blankets for the sofas and flannelette sheets for the bed. Don't like to get them out too soon so that I have something in reserve when it really turns cold:)

ReplyDeleteWe woke this morning to our first snowfall, only about an inch though, but looking at the sky there's more to come. Hope the weekend is good for you.
