TARRAGON & THYME

 During the real first hot spell of weather we had and prior to us going away to Woodhall Spa again we had an incident with the next door neighbours.  They have been regular users of having a barbecue and we believe that they had one and put the barbecue away hot.  It was purely by chance I found the fire.  We were upstairs watching a TV programme and I kept hear hearing this crackling sound.  So I went downstairs to check as it sounded as though the next door neighbour was watering up and had left the hose pipe on.  When I got downstairs I could not see anything (I had been worried that he had collapsed in the garden and left the hose pipe running which has happened before).  I popped my head around the bottom of the house only to see the fence inbetween used and next door.  There was hardly any shed left next door by this time and I have never seen a fence go up so quickly.  I screamed for OH to call the fire brigade.  We are very luck...

 Sorry for being absent for so long. This was not intended. This is the first time I have been able to get online on my computer in a long while. I was badly hacked earlier on in the year which has caused all sorts of problems and my email account is still not working properly.  To exacerbate that I could not remember passwords for different accounts and for the best part have been putting up small posts on Instagram, however it has always been my intention to come back to this account.  Hopefully you are all still there. We have had rather a lot of other stuff going on as well including a fire caused by next door neighbours which completely demolished our shed and contents and they were not insured.   I will pop up a more detailed post hopefully by the end of the week. Just wanted to say hello and let you know I should be back into the swing of things hopefully by the end of the week. I hope each and everyone of you are keeping well. Kind regards Pattypan x
