TARRAGON & THYME

Saturday we went shopping to the Butchers again and also called in at the Fishman at Ramsey.  Bought quite a few goodies and then on the way home called into Dobbies.  Been a while since been in there and it has changed quite a lot.  Very interested in their food hall section although not much in the way of plants at the moment. That will change though.  I did however see a very nice patio set which I am hanging my nose over.  Round table with umbrella and six chairs all in wicker but looked terribly nice.  There was also a small table and a settee and couple of chairs which I quite liked too. They have a lovely kitchen area and we ended up picking up a Pyrex frying pan which is ideal to use on a hob and also induction hobs.  My spare plate is an induction one but some of my pans just do not work on it.  This new pan which is a square frying pan in effect works an absolute treat.  It is also very easy to clean.  Might get some more ...

Last night was a bit hectic to say the least (Sunday) and I did not get to bed until 3:00am which was later than anticipated due to the jobs I was trying to accomplish go wrong and I ended up doing a whole lot of other stuff besides.  So needless to say I was a bit weary before I even started. If was first day back at work (Monday) and I was really tired after a very busy day.  So last night I just chilled and did not do a great deal apart from cook tea, mooch through some magazines, catching up with posts on both Blogger and Bloglovin and also update a couple of posts (to come in due course).  So it has been a completely leisurely evening despite plans to the contrary.  However I will have to get back into the swing of things for tomorrow night. I have in mind to do some peach jam tonight (Tuesday) and also start off the piccalilli (the new version) and maybe the River Cottage version as well.  I have the vegetables all in situ.  I just have to kn...

I had intended to pop up a post last night, after being missing for a couple of days as I had been out on Wednesday evening and had just got dropped off when my friend over the road came flying over saying that she had lost the kitten in the garden and he would not come to her.  Needless to say Tiddles came straight away to me and was just "jerking her chain" as the saying goes, so we quickly got him restored to his mum again.  Also with walking backwards and forwards to work this week it had upset the left hand side of my lower back again and made it very sore and uncomfortable.  Fortunately by Thursday evening the car had been returned to us repaired and so I got a lift home on Thursday night and was able to rest up.  Yesterday however I woke up a bit headachy, thought nothing of it, but as the day went on I started to develop a headache and by lunch yesterday it was turning into a raging headache and quickly turned into a migraine  I had found some pills and ...

Sorry haven't been around much this week have had quite a lot to do in a very short space of time and I am still playing catch up. Last weekend I wasn't in - on Saturday was at Stansted for the day at the Arthur Findlay Collete in Stansted - commonly referred to as "Spooks Hall" by the locals. Sunday was out for a meal and at my mums as it was my birthday. Monday was playing catch up at home.Tuesday back at work and we have been extremely busy there. Tuesday night out to my friends to try and sort out what we are going to do with the Psychic and Spiratualist Fellowship whilst she is incapacitated - its business as usual and we are going to keep it going between us. Then I gave healing to my friend, her husband and to another of my friends. Today has been our Departmental Strategy day which has been very positive in many respects but extremely tiring.
