Happy New Year 2016
I saw the New Year in and it was gone 2:30am before I got to bed. I sat doing some crochet for a little while in the peace and quiet of the early hours adding extra rows to some crochet already well underway and welcoming in the New Year in my own quiet inimitable style. OH was flat out for the count. In the early part of the evening fireworks were going off left right and centre and at one point we had fireworks going off in the street in front of the house and in peoples gardens to the rear. It deeply upset Missy who kept muttering and growling for the best part of the evening thereafter and the cats were not much happier either. But at least the were in the warm and safe. I am sorry I am not a fan of fireworks I really am not happy with them. They look pretty but the bangs really do nothing for me. My impression is that they make people irresponsible and less careful of other folk minding their business. We should not be able to ...
