It is a bit manic around here

 I am having a proper bottoming out of my bedroom, and quite a few bags of clothes, both mine and OH have winged their way round to the local charity shop.  The items will do some good in the long run.  A lot of them are items that have never been used, some come from my Mum's I am at long last starting to let go as a new broom needs to go through, and recharge everything.  I have located some of my mum's old decorations not her glass ones though or what remained of them. I haven't located them yet.  My brother and I both had some each they were literally split between us as we both had special memories of Christmas.  No point in hanging on to stuff, even though I do not really want to let it go.  There are memories to some items attached.  Those memories are still with me but I have had to be very practical.  I think I have taken about 8 bags of stuff today, and there will be more tomorrow. 

I have also come across some of my Christmas magazines and also freebie leaflets covering recipes for the Christmas season.  Notably by Mary Berry which I am pleased to have found as I have been looking for them. 

I have however been looking for some of my preserving books.  I promised a friend some recommendations and can I find the blinking books can I.  Thats a bit NO!.  Swings and roundabouts me thinks.  A lot of my books got scattered around the house when the book shelf collapsed.  I know that there are some in this particular room it is just I have not been able to lay my hands on them as yet.  The ones I have found are now stacked ready to go back into the front room.

I have also found some towels that had gone missing, a quilt, and one of the bathroom rugs.  They are all taking a turn in the washing machine to get them all ready for using again.

So apologies for the absence, unfortunately real life needs dealing with at this particular time, and hopefully will get back to posting regularly again in a couple of days. There is so much that I want to do, but I am having to be very practical.  In essence I am clearing space for the future yet to come.  Hopefully lots of positive energy as a result of the major declutter.
