Just a Quick Look iN

 Busy day again today in the kitchen again.  Getting there very slowly.  Have also cooked a substantial stew to be served as always with mashed potatoes and dumplings.  Very much needed today as it has been cold here again.  I decided to cook the dumplings in the Ninja pressure cooking facility.  Just a warning- do not do it.  My dumplings disappeared.  I have made a second batch not using the pressure cooker function and they seem to be bobbing around okay now.  They have grown which is something.

All I am bothered about really on the food front is getting at least a good couple of days meals out of the stew.  There is plenty that has gone into it as usual, and it tastes quite promising at the moment.  I continually taste as I cook in any event.

Stew, Dumplings and mashed potato were very tasty and has done the job in warming us up from the inside out.  Good couple of days of meals left.  I know will have again tomorrow but Tuesday will probably do a Cottage Pie, and pop the stew in the fridge for himself to help himself to in the day.

I am tired at the moment, however, that is going to be par for the course this week.  My arm has been playing up again which is not making jobs very easy at the moment.  Hey tiz just the depth that varies, but at least I am breathing!  Very grateful for that bit.

Trouble is when you enjoy cooking as much as I do, you accumulate all sorts of bits and bobs for different things.  My issue is that I do not have much space to store things.  Maybe things will change soon.  I have never had so small a kitchen!  Not a good thing although I can achieve most things in such a small space, which is probably good training in any event.

Right am off to potter again.  I have had an hour off work for eating and letting my food go down.
