An early Night
Last night for the simple reason I felt so rough. I was in bed by 9:00pm and I slept well despite it being so warm. Only a couple of interruptions. I had a splitting migraine as well, which is still hanging, but not like it was. I will therefore have another early night tonight to try and get myself straight again. Still not 100%.
I started to work in the kitchen but ran out of energy again. So have just pottered and done other things instead.
I managed to get a lot of bedding washed today and got it dried. We have had a lovely breeze today ideal for getting the washing dry.
Tea has been Chicken Tikka Masala served with plain rice. Went down very nicely and there is still some left over.
I've never had a migraine and I never want to. Let's hope is goes away sooner rather than later. Sometimes we just have to give in and call it a day.
ReplyDeleteHave suffered with them since was seven. Part of my epilepsy problems but it does not help my Dad suffered with them. I do not get them quite like I used to but every so often xx Just one of those things xx
DeleteYour chicken looks absolutely delicious. Hope your energy level comes back soon and your migraine goes away completely. Take care.
ReplyDeleteHi Theresa, it was delicious. Energy is good at the moment, but I am trying to be good and do something about it as soon as I am feeling a little off. Doesn't always work as do not always realise, but it is what it isxxx Take care Tricia xx
DeleteI'm not surprised you need an early night or two! I've just been catching up on your last few posts and my goodness you have been busy! I think it's time to give yourself a day or two off! You make me feel quite lazy at the moment. It is time for me to make some adjustments in my routines - cooking and cleaning - as the weather gets hotter (Summer here is normally between 25 & 30C but can get even hotter plus we get a lot of humidity which just drains your energy). I find that I have to break things up into smaller units to get through everything. It takes longer but still gets done eventually. I also don't do as much cooking in the Summer - I switch to lots of salads and proteins tend to be eggs, cheese or cold meats - and I'll do a batch cook once in a while of things like chicken and pop it into the freezer for later. You have accomplished so much lately, both inside and in the garden so enjoy a day or two of rest.
