Either Hay Fever or a Stinking Cold

Please note that this is not a "woe is me post".  That is never my intention but sometimes life is a little more complicated than it first looks especially when problems are not readily apparent.

Hay Fever (which I am not usually a sufferer of) or a stinking cold.  I have had a combination of symptoms and I have been sneezing, sniffling and coughing a lot. I know I am one of the lucky ones generally and I do not make the best of patients at the best of times.  Always pushing boundaries me, wouldn't be me if I didn't. This combined with a flare up has prevented me doing anything in the last couple of days or so.  My eyes have been particularly affected and the Migraine is still hanging.  I have been having to put a lot of drops in my eyes (more than normal). As a result of the Sjogren's Syndrome (pronounced Shogrins). More details here for those that are interested. Sjogren's Syndrome Information.  It is a hidden condition but one that has to be tackled everyday. I am not the only one with this condition and by the looks of me I appear healthy and strong.

I also suspect that the low pressure and humidity is not helping either.  Each day I am starting to feel a little better than I did do, but by evening I always start to feel yuk and particularly bad. I have been in bed a lot (and a lot earlier to bed than normal); and when not in bed just sat resting as have had no energy either.  They say you heal when you sleep (and perhaps a lot of the time it is the best medicine).  Let us just say that I have been over-indulging!

Please bear with me though and I will be back to regular posting when am up to it.  Hopefully by the end of the week.  I have not even been able to start the external project that we had planned on doing. That is being deferred until on all cylinders again.

It also feels very stormy and we have had gentle rain again for most of the day although the Sun does appear to be trying to break through the cloud.

Fortunately with having salad as part of the meal regime, meals are more or less catered for that is therefore really one less problem to think about.  Thank goodness for a modicum of pre-planning.

Thank you for all your good wishes.  I am taking it steady, colds and infections tend to affect me more than most because of the reduced immune system conditions.  There we are it is what it is; cannot help your Genes, Levi's or Wranglers!  As I say I am one of the lucky ones  I am being looked after in the greater scheme of things for which I am grateful even though the blinking Migraine is still with me.  Long while since have had one like this!

Hopefully will be able to get started again soon.

Hope everyone is keeping well and safe.

Have a lovely evening everyone.

Catch you soon.
