Getting out in the Garden Again Part Two Front Garden

Honestly Governor, I started in the kitchen got fed up fancied some fresh air and voila, the garden won hands down.  The basis for my decision was that I was nearer finishing the job in the garden than the kitchen so better to have one more or less finished than none at all.  Bit of psychiatry on my part going on here.

My sleep was a bit erratic last night to start with and then I slept heavy and have woken up not firing on all pistons.  Bit like Foggy dew!

Weather forecast for today said rain, but so far has hit a bright spot too so garden wins. Did some more clearing, until rain stopped play. Well it looks as though they got the forecast right.

To tell you the truth I did too much in the kitchen last night and I need a break!  Back to it tomorrow.  I want to get the top of the kitchen units (wall cupboards) sorted out and scrubbed and then leave the appliances down for a day or so, in order that part of the kitchen can be painted.  We still have a lot to do other things have stopped play.  Once that is done I can forget about the top of the units once the appliances are back on for a little while and that will be another bit done.  Bit like doing jigsaws really.

I am actually going to go into the bedroom again tonight to tidy away some of the stuff I unearthed the other day like my hairdryer, curling, tongs, brush dryer and straighteners as well as the electric curlers and also not forgetting my Ronson hood hairdryer and brush.  Had this since I was 20.  Now that is telling.  It still works.  That will be a good job all of it into the walk-in wardrobe/closet! Where I can access it easily.  So nothing much planned but some tidying up on what I did the other day.  Looks as though it will be Thursday before I am back in the bedroom for the day.

I will try and get back into the front garden again tomorrow weather permitting and then once all that is done and dusted I shall then be able to forget about the front for a while and then start again on the back garden a little bit at a time.  G did chop some weeds down the garden the other day so I will have to tidy up on that. I had wanted to do a bit of gardening, but in reality I do not think it is going to happen.  I have far too much to do maybe I will get to it next year.  May still be able to do one or two things will see.  Main thing though is to get the garden cleared.  Am going to go to the local shop and see if they have any cardboard boxes to lay down once I have cleared an area.  Might be able to get some stuff on the go for veggies next year. It is a pity really as I get so much enjoyment by being out in the garden.  However, the house does need to be sorted one way or the other.  That is not going away.  Will see how we get on.

Will probably play catch up a bit tomorrow.  I am waiting for some photos to download which seem to be taking ages.  So will come back and post them once they decide to play ball.  We have had problems with the internet and despite the supplier saying no problems in our area both our computers have had no link one minute the next it is back then long periods without.  Been better today, but is still doing it.
