Bottoming out the Study/Craft Room/Computer Room Part Two

 Well it has been a beautiful day because the Sun has been out - not that I have seen much of it as I have been back into the Craft Room/Study/Computer room.  Have dragged out my desk and given it a thorough going over as well as washed the walls and skirting.  G has also dealt with some small touching up jobs with some paint as well whilst we were clear to do so.  So it has been a busy day.

Bottoming out has allowed me to have a really good tidy up and I am aiming for minimal stuff in this room now.  Will bring items in as I am going to work them, and then take them back out again.  I intend to set up one of the Poly boxes that I recently bought to store all my new craft stuff in and what I am currently working on in order to keep it all together and allow me easy access to those items being currently worked on.  Well that is the plan in any effect

I have partially got some of the stuff back on the desk, my machines, Craft Lamp (not my magnifying one which is plugged into the computer) and Big Shot.  The rest has yet to go back in - well what is going back in and then I have the rest of the room to finish up.  So another day at it tomorrow.  

Looks as though it is going to be another fine day tomorrow - nearly a touch of Spring in the air.  Fingers crossed and toes plaited.  Hopefully will be able to get the washing on the line.  I have the bed linen to wash which involves the duvet, the cover, a quilt and a couple of blankets as well as pillowcases.  Will see how we get on with that.  At the end of the day it might be a nice day but it might not be a good drying day if you get what I mean.  At least I now have my clothes props for outside!

The Spring Clean is therefore officially in progress.  Time to wash the walls and skirting boards and mop the floors and boards.  Am I not the lucky one, but it will freshen things up beautifully.  Especially after the rooms are put back together one by one.

Once the Craft Room/Computer Room/Study is done - I will be going into the Kitchen to bottom that out and then maybe I will get the flooring in there done.  Will see how it goes.

By rights the next logical room to do would be the bathroom.  However, I am going to have to skip this room as a lot of the laundry is still in there that needs sorting out.  Weather permitting, I will be able to tackle a lot of that this week to get it out of the way with.  It very much depends on the weather though.

Once the kitchen is sorted then may double back to the bathroom and get that all sorted and the floor in there as well.  That is what I am planning at the moment.

I am also planning to get outside and get the rubbish sorted out a bit at a time and then will get G to go to the tip.  I am going to have a good bottom out in the front garden and then start on the back as well.

Therefore lots to do as usual.

I had planned on embroidery today as well.  However that will now be next weekend and I will concentrate on the Crochet during the week.  Now the lighter nights are arriving I am starting to slot in items of an evening to do whereas when it is dark I have been sat dealing with some crafting or watching a TV programme.  It means that I will get a little more time to do things which is always welcome.

It is not only a new month this weekend, it is a New Moon.  Beautiful cold but clear night here tonight - not a cloud in the sky.  Supposed to get down to -2 again here tonight.  Fingers crossed it will not be long before we get the warmer weather.

Tea tonight was Hunters chicken.  Went down reasonably well.

Right am off to make myself a cup of tea and watch the Darts.  Been very good so far.
