Weather has been lovely

today.  Lovely and more Spring like, with the Sun warming the soil, and putting a different complexion on matters.

Today started reasonably early this morning, and I did not stop.  G had his full cooked breakfast consisting of chipolata sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tiny plum tomatoes, fried eggs and some bread and butter; washed down with a mug of tea.

I then set too and did a bit of clearing in the kitchen and got bags filled with rubbish to go down to the tip. This will be the first of several runs over the next couple of weeks to the tip to get rid of as much rubbish as we can.

Today more than a little work has taken place.  Necessary work that involves a lot of sorting, and with the weather being nicer today, a visit has been made to the tip, and several bags have been removed from the property.  There was a bit of a kerfuffle though, as I received an irate phone call from G as they would not let him in the tip.  Apparently everyone who lives in Peterborough to use the Recycling Centre you have to be registered with them, and you have to have what is called an e-permit to drop off anything to the recycling centre these days.  G has a very short fuse in any event - which is mostly down to him being Bi-Polar, and he flares like dynamite. It is not an excuse, just a fact of life.  Not easy to deal with and not always put up with.  He is not allowed to get away with temper tantrums from my perspective and if I think he is "swinging the lead" he gets tackled head on.  It does not make it any easier though.  I therefore sorted the permit out whilst he was down there, and got that all sorted out for him.  Now he has his e-permit which runs for three years for nothing, it is just a matter of going down to the tip, as he is now on the register.  All red tape!

I have also had some post delivered today.  My wine making yeast and compound has been received and so I now have the option of starting off the wine making again going forward.  Both tubs are in my special ingredients cupboard in the kitchen in readiness for when I do set too and get things moving on the wine front again.

Also received today the Mandy Shaw Easter wreath project book has been popped to one side for me to have a good look at.  It has already given me a few ideas on how to do some things differently.

The large Water jug from the Price Kensington Cottageware range has arrived.  I am extremely chuffed with it and it goes well with the jug I found last week.  It makes a heck of a difference when a Seller really does pack breakable items well.

Also received are the five Coffee Mugs and six Saucers in the same range.  I do love it when Sellers take the time and energy to really pack things properly.

I am just waiting for the Needlepoint Cushion kit to arrive and that is everything ordered delivered.  Fingers crossed and toes plaited!

For the next few days therefore I am going to be working downstairs where is needed, and not necessarily in relation to one room.  Just sorting and getting things back on track where I can.  Household things have been slightly de-railed of late.  I shall pop up a full report of how I get on in due course.  There are of course lots of other things going on as well.  It would not be normal for here if I did not!

Tea tonight was delicious.  We had the Mint, Rosemary and Lamb traybake bought and frozen the other week and I served it with Potato Dauphinoise.  It was extremely tasty and went down and absolute treat.  Sorry no photos, was half-way through before I realised I had not taken any.

Tomorrow is going to be very a busy day again.  Something simpler for tea tomorrow night though me thinks.

I did nip out into the garden tonight.  I am going to have my work cut out.  Am hoping that I will be able to start pottering about and getting stuff done and out of the way with in the garden in the coming days.  Fingers crossed and toes plaited.

Lots to do as usual, just the depth that will vary.

Have a lovely evening everyone.

Catch you soon.
