Well me and my Plans

 Just did not materialise at all today.  Something to do with a Jack Russell!  Need I say more.  My back was also bad last night and I used the spray on my back for the first time in over a year.  I slept well, and despite the discomfort I had last night when getting ready for bed and all the bending I had been doing, I woke  up this morning with no aches and pains there, which for me is a result.  It means I can get on with everyday things at least without discomfort.  That is a win-win.

G went off fishing and left me at home, with said Missy the Jack Russell and Mischief the Cat.  I ended up falling asleep and was woken by her wanting to get up.  So  I dealt with her and then looked at the clock!  Arghh!

Since then she has been vocalising quite a bit especially if I have gone to get something and disappear from her vision.  We have had a few howling sessions as a result.  Mischief has been checking on the howler every so often.  She has now flopped on the floor and peace reigns for now.

G is now back from his fishing expedition.  He came home with a take-way which went down very nicely.

Me, now I am going to tackle the Pantry.  Sort of the reverse of the order had wanted to do anything.

As a result with the garden and the greenhouse all I have done today is open said greenhouse up to let the plants breathe, and give water where needed.  The plants were all fed yesterday in any event.  I have also added saucers to some of the Planters  - as many as I had as well.  Despite it being only a little greenhouse it is getting very hot in there so it will need opening up everyday without fail.

I will go out later and close up and check if anymore water is required and close down for the night.  All done and dusted now.  Plants seem to be settling down, recovering their colour and they look perkier than they did.  That is a good step moving forward.  I have also ordered some more seeds and some more Strawberry plants which should arrive in the next couple of days or so.

In the meanwhile, back at the ranch!  I have worked into the evening, but progress on the Pantry is as follows:

Non-existent.  Will be moving in there tomorrow.  Do however have a lot of the stuff bought into boxes and so once the Pantry is stripped out in the morning, it will be a case of working from box to box to empty the contents into the Pantry.  That should be a lot neater in practice when working.  There was more stuff there than I thought.  I am hoping that it will take me no more than tomorrow to get it all turfed out organised/re-organised and sorted, even if it means working into the evening again.  I therefore think tomorrow will be a non-gardening day as well.  If I manage to get the Pantry all sorted out tomorrow, I will be in the kitchen bottoming it out on Wednesday.  Once that is done I will assess the kitchen flooring and ask G if he can get it done.  That will in itself my life that much easier in being able to keep on top of the kitchen.  It is time it is done in any event.

I have also done a couple of loads of washing to get out on the line first thing tomorrow.  Must make use of this brilliant drying weather whilst we can.  Will save so much on the electric.  Funnily enough a lot of G's clothes have to be hung dry in any event as you cannot tumble dry them.  I am slowly getting him trained in this respect and getting him to be a little more pro-active on getting things into the wash early especially if he wants to wear them.  He therefore has to give a minimum of two days notice on certain items for me to get them dry.  It takes longer if they have to dry inhouse compared to line drying.

I have therefore had a very busy evening and have only just managed to sit down for a while before getting ready to go to bed. A wee bit shattered.  I am determined though to get a lot done this week on both the house and the garden.  I need to get a wriggle on to get these projects out of the way with as there is an awful lot of other stuff that needs to be achieved.
