Plans for Saturday

Solstice Greetings to everyone.  

Where has this year gone, cannot believe that now we will start losing the light little by little.

Think it is going to be a reasonably early start tomorrow as I have an awful lot to do and realistically I am not going to finish the kitchen tomorrow but I am going to do what I can to move things on that much further.

Plans are at the moment:

• Make a cuppa, get my medication; breakfast will be later;
• Open up the greenhouses; 
• Start in the kitchen; desperately needs sorting and cleaning out.  All geared up to attack this;
• Will be starting with the washing up;
• Then taking out everything in the kitchen and popping it outside whilst I get cupboards cleaned and items put back where they belong. This will be the time-consuming bit; the condiments cupboard also needs quite a few more jars to go into it after it has been cleaned out and other jars need re-filling;
• Washing going on throughout the day which has been taken out of the bathroom. Then it will be air dried and pegged out on the line the old fashioned cheapest way of doing things. A lot of what is being washed is going to be going to the Charity Shop as some of it is now far too big for me.  I shall sort out what I want and send anything else that is suitable to the shop.  I am going to be between the bathroom and the kitchen today although predominantly in the kitchen;
• Will also be making several forays into the pantry as well to get stuff packed away in there; even if it is only just to place items in there for the time being and then go back to. it will be out of my little kitchen; a larger storage box is still to go into the bottom of the pantry so everything may end up in a box to be slipped in there but outside the Pantry until I can get clear to get everything sorted out; there are still a couple of boxes of items to go into the Pantry which are in the dining room; will get to them at some point.
• All kitchen stuff in the bathroom is to come out and go into the dining room for the time being (sort out central); and from here a lot will go into the back bedroom once it has been sorted out which will start after closing the garden up for the night on Saturday evening;
• Rome was not built in a day as the saying goes, but any kind of movement even if it takes a couple of days will be an achievement;  I want the kitchen, Pantry, bathroom and Little room back under control.  The fridge also comes under this.  The freezer is absolutely stuffed!

Later in the day I shall do some more potting on!

An awful lot to be getting on with, but it needs doing for my sanity and a couple of the cupboards are being revamped to hold other items.  A lot of my baking tins are going into a poly box  upstairs eventually to free up space for those items I use more.  Will be easily accessible though.

Going to be another busy week, but I want to get more done and dusted and off the check list.

G is fishing I think on Wednesday and Thursday now so that will give me a bit of a chance to move on a bit in the back bedroom.  Possibly not to sort boxes out but to sort them so that I can get to them more easily and then if necessary will go back and sort the boxes out and schedule them.  The other reason I am scheduling the boxes is for insurance purposes as well as an aide memoire as to what is in each box.

We shall therefore see how we get on.
