Chaos a Mish-Mash sort of a day
Well it is one of those weeks things are just not running to plan primarily because of the weather as it is leaving me without the inclination to tackle jobs when I know I should be, but there is a lack of energy as well. Two rough nights on the trot have not helped either. It is far too hot to be doing some of what we are planning on doing. That and today I had to go to the hospital again. I also have to go to the Surgery for bloods again next Tuesday so they are kind of keeping their beady eyes on me at the moment. Beginning to feel a bit like a proverbial pincushion. Today's testing I should get the results of at home within 3-4 weeks. A routine set of screening, which will not happen again for another three years as long as everything is okay.
Because of today's appointment being in the early part of the afternoon we have therefore taken things steadily and just pottered doing this and that but nothing really substantial in the run up to going to the appointment. Had to leave out earlier in any event as were not sure where to go. It is a big campus. There we are.
Got back and boy was it hot 32 degrees. Fortunately the house has been nice and cool for the best part.
I cooked tea tonight mad fool that I am. We had the Roast Beef in gravy that I froze a while back again. Served with broccoli, cauliflower cheese, mixed veggies, potato croquettes and new potatoes and gravy. Very filling but a nice meal in any event. I will tackle the washing up in the morning when it is a bit cooler. Hate doing this but just not in the mood or have the energy to deal this evening. Did not get sat down until 10:00pm. Have watered up as well and also fallen down in the garden for my sins. Must take more Gin in it.
I am not planning anything for tomorrow after the complete lack of success everything will unfurl as it is meant to do and will evolve organically.
Right am off to put my feet up.
Take care, keep safe especially with this heat wherever you are.
Catch you soon.

P.S. The opener for the preserving jars is a success. I have also been able to clean up one jar - it had gone rusty on the wire but most of that has been taken off partially with the aid of a wire brush and a Brillo pad and also some limescale remover. I am going to work a jar a day until I have the box I have of these all processed and cleaned up and pressed back into use again. So a bit of a success which I am pleased about.
