G is going Fishing and I have plans
G is going fishing tomorrow and I have plans of what I am going to be getting up to whilst he is out to play. He is also fishing on Tuesday and that will be a different story altogether. No shopping planned, but a bit of work and a bit of preparation planned for Sunday. That will be the first part of the morning.
I will not get all of the items done, but just to get a few out of the way with would be a blessing. It would be a start and then I could continue on with the rest during the week. Creating and Playing is a central part of the Christmas celebrations for me; perhaps the most important part. The following are on the list:
- Start to glue my pegs together to create Snowflake ornaments;
- Get my Oranges Dried - Dragging down the big girl to deal with a large batch of these;
- Get my Lemons Dried - using the smaller machine;
- Get my Apples Dried - (when the other machines have emptied);
- Start my Natural Decorations Ornaments, consisting of spices and natural items foraged and collected over a period of time on the go;
- Get my firelighters made;
- Get my paper cones made;
- Get some paper spills made;
- Get some gift tags made;
- Get some of my candle decorating projects started and/or completed;
- Prepare some Salt Dough for Mini Wreaths, candleholders etc;
- Prepare some Cinnamon and Mixed Spice Dough to make some Fir Cone Ornaments;
- Get my Pomanders made;
- Get my Orange Peel mini garlands made;
- Paper cutting ornaments;
- Paper bag ornaments;
That will do to start with. Have to keep myself occupied one way or another. I am already starting to think about lovely things to have to eat over the Christmas period. It is also a way to keep me on an even keel and mood as this grey wet weather is not my favourite.
Lovely tea tonight. Deconstructed Baked Potatoes, with fried onions, coleslaw, grated cheese and Butter for G. Same for me but with Sweet Potato. Has gone down very nicely.
Have a lovely evening everyone.
Catch you soon.
