Wednesday what a Busy Day

I was kept busy all day on Wednesday. No particular focus just going to jobs that could be dealt with relatively easily and chipping away at other projects a bit at a time.  I was a bit all over the place but was choosing aspects of larger projects that could be dealt with to get them a bit sorted, but also moving larger projects forward that little bit  more and getting them on to the Ferris Wheel of production.  Equally I have been doing simple jobs that could be got out of the way easily.  I seem to be getting more done at the moment working this way and will utilise it where I can for the sake of speed and getting things out of the way.  I have a heck of a lot to do over the coming weeks.  I am choosing to be more active where I can.  Cannot always do it every day, but I am determined to get things done.  With the past seven weeks being out of action it has slightly done my head in.  I am still not 100% but am able to do more than I have been able to.  Am a lot more comfortable, but have suffered nerve damage and numbness and still have some pain and the itching!  I have been using Aloe Vera to try and keep my skin cooler because as soon as I get warm I am itching a lot and it is the type of itch that is not going away.

It has therefore been a full on day here.

Last evening we sorted out a load of washing and also turfed some bed linen and household items such as quilts and blankets etc. into bags of washing which I dumped outside the back door.  I started off with two large loads of clothing  and got them washed and line dried. I am over  half way through the household linen and blankets only have two bags to process, wash and dry tomorrow.

I have started stripping Greenhouse number one.  I am late this year and I have a few plants that I bought the other day which needed to go in there out of the Sun so that they could be watered and nurtured in this heat wave we are going through at the moment.  It is my intention all being well to resume and carry on with the greenhouse tomorrow.  I am also going to have a look at the shelving units and hopefully get them put together and installed after the Greenhouse number One has thoroughly been washed and dried out. I may buy in a couple of more if I can. Then I can start organising things in there that bit more.  Still have Greenhouse number Two to do though.

The house looks like Armageddon at the moment although I am chipping away with projects in the house too.  Whilst the weather is fine (and it is not too hot either first thing in the morning or last thing at night), it is a good opportunity to try to sort the garden and get back on track with it.  Hopefully chipping away at things like this will result in projects happening quicker.

Tea was very simple tonight.  We had a homemade Prawn Cocktail with a slice of bread and butter.  Neither of us were over-hungry and this fitted the bill very nicely indeed.  Very refreshing as well.  My appetite is still not what it should be,  I am eating, but just not like I had been.  I am trying to keep myself moving and getting on with stuff instead of over-thinking things and doubting whether I am able to do it or not!!  I do have a pile of books lurking though!

Hope everyone is keeping safe, well and hydrated.  Too hot for me really cannot be out in the Sun like I used to be.

Catch you soon.
