Another visit to B & M

Be pre-warned this is a long post.

I visited B & M today again to make a shopping list for next week – well not to buy everything of course but to work out the things I was interested in, their prices, and to start to re-stock the pantry.  A list I thought would be useful to work out how many pennies and how many of each item I would need.  I also thought that for those of you with a B & M near you it would give an idea of what kind of offers are available. For those of you who have been before and for any newbies.

Please note this is not as a result of any enticement from that said company, just my own way of going about trying to restore order to my household after a few months of neglect.

I have always kept a healthy pantry but recent months have found me running it down so that I could re-stock.  To say that I have found this pretty frustrating is an understatement and I take the view that the quicker my pantry is restored to order the better.  However, Rome was not built in a day and as I have been a person to take advantage of genuine offers I will not part with my money that easily.  Next time when I run the pantry down I will start buying items and put them in a completely separate part of the house in readiness for stocking it afresh.

There are lots of deals on other foods  - there are loads more.  Particularly biscuits, (they do pack sizes suitable for a pack up box) sweets, drinks, alcohol, crisps cleaning stuff as well as loads and loads of other items.  I have been buying my fabric conditioner here for a little while and my soap powder.

Some of the items are not necessities but with an eye to Christmas and buying bits in ready for that said celebration.

Next time round I shall outline what items I have decided on first and what you can do with them once you have them.
