Unfortunately
I have not been up to much today - the fatigue hit; result Tricia O - Fatigue 1! So a very leisurely day has been had as a result. I hurt so much at the minute and when it gets like this I could cry. I have had my Paracetamol and it is not working. Got to keep at it though, cannot give in. It did not help that I fell at the beginning of the week on my bad arm and wrenched and bruised it. Unfortunately I always fall heavily and my arm automatically goes out to save myself so the arm ends up taking the shock and the bruising. Been uncomfortable since although have been trying to do my exercises very gingerly! Have physio bright and early tomorrow morning at 9am so fingers crossed everything will be okay. It is just one of those things
I did go for some fresh air for a short walk with the dog. I do try and move around but sometimes it is ouch ouch ouch. Like toothache in my bones. Missy loves to go out and about and frequently asks to be taken out (she has set times) as a rule and sometimes those are not met, which is when she lets you know that really she wants to go.
The weather doesn't really know what it is doing today; pressure is high (hence me having problems), one minute its cold the next it is muggy and it has been very breezy. Feels as though there is a lot of rain to come.
The garden has been sorted for today with the watering up and the closing down for the night so all is sorted out there. Mint plants have settled right in, the French Beans are looking a little healthier and the Pumpkins have flowers on them
We have had Lamb chops for tea this evening served with mashed potato, carrots, steamed buttered shredded cabbage, Romanesco and Cauliflower. Gravy as per normal. Has gone down very nicely indeed and just what the Dr ordered! Lamb chops always make a tasty meal.
I have only just realised that I missed a TV programme I have been following on Saturday night called Becoming Elizabeth. Am going to see if I can watch it on More4. I have been enjoying it.
Sorry it is short and sweet, hopefully will be firing on a few more pistons tomorrow.
Here is wishing you a lovely evening wherever you may be.
Catch you soon.

Hope you feel better and that the therapy helps.
ReplyDeleteThank you, much brighter today although I still hurt. Physio is pleased as have more strength than I did last time, which bearing in mind have not exercised for a couple of days is a bonus. Weather and a flare up together are not a good combination. Cest la Vie x
DeleteI hope you are better soon and that the Physio helps.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jennie, much better than yesterday. Rain and a flare up together are not a good combination. I still hurt, but am a bit more with it than I was. It is just one of those things. Some are worse than others though. The Physio is lovely and even though due to a fall last week where I wrenched my shoulder and bruised my arm and was not able to exercise for a couple of days, she is pleased with progress. Apparently my upper arm strength has increased a little from last time. I have some elastic band work to do. Hope you are okay and that Keith is more comfy. Take care Tricia x
DeleteI hope you're feeling much better today Tricia - I always say that when you're younger and you tumble, you roll with it but the older I get the more I go down like a sack of spuds, thump and I'm down, thinking how did that happen?
ReplyDeleteYou're best resting and having a break too after a tumble, take care Crafty Nan xx
