Ominous Sounds
G has the bit between his teeth. Or should I say the Drill bit. He is busy in the Pantry again. The door to the Pantry is sticking again and causing problems. He therefore has it off his hinges and there are all sorts of noises coming from downstairs. The study/craft room is right above the Pantry and so you can hear everything. It will be a job well done when he has finished.
I still have further work to do in the Pantry. I will pop little snippets up, but will do a full post in any event of how things progressed. Am very pleased with how well things are going at the moment. I managed to get some of my stone crocks into the Pantry yesterday as well. I intend to use them for storage of bags of flour. My big 16kg bread flour bag is in a separate tub. I have not got that into the Pantry as yet. Everything has been scrubbed. Old sweetie jars which I use for bulk storage of dry ingredients. Have not got all the ingredients back into them. That will happen over the next week. I currently have a couple of large tubs of dry ingredients under the counter in the Pantry for sorting out. Sadly, the Pantry is not really big enough for what I would want ideally, but I have managed to get a heck of a lot of stuff in there. However, as I have decimated the house in the process of sorting the Pantry, it is time to tidy up the mess. As part of that mess I also have to sort out the Preserves store under the stairs! However the beauty of that is that I will at long last be able to get some of my vinegars out of the way with in there. That cupboard has to be stripped out, washed and then painted and then re-stocked like the Pantry has been. Once that is done it will be the fireside cupboard.
I did not want tea tonight, and have opted for some nice cheese, crackers and chutney for a change. Must say it has gone down very nicely indeed.
I have not stopped all week and it looks as though next week is not going to be very different. My back is killing me. Will get the hot water bottle on that later on as I have found it helps out an awful lot when I have done too much. Still far too much to do though. I am determined to get the house back on track again. It is going to take a lot of wok.
Will be an early start tomorrow as no end to do.
Have a lovely evening.
Catch you soon.

It's good you can see the improvement at each stage, it helps keeping you going, hope the backache goes, it's always the same for me.
