70th Birthday Celebrations

 Happy Birthday Geoff, 70 magical bumps of the day.

We have just returned from a 70th Birthday Breakfast Celebration with the children Ruth and Paul and Louise and the grandchildren.  Has been a lovely informal time out, with quite a few memories shared, and a lot of laughter over some past memories, some of which are perhaps best not aired in detail. Remembering the first proper meal that we took Paul and Ruth out too.  Paul ordered roast lamb and was expecting the whole joint to be served on his plate, he was quite put out when only a few slices arrived.  Have to laugh. Lovely that the littlies were also able to be there as well.  Unusually I forgot my camera.  Cake was given as we were leaving but here are photos.  Will be dished out later today.  Must say you have done a lovely job of spoiling your Dad today.

BTW the cake is delicious.  It has a buttercream outer but is fresh cream inside.  Very delicious and very rich.

We are having a roast pork dinner for tea tonight.  I nearly always cook when its G's birthday.

Now to let the birthday boy enjoy the rest of his day.
