Bedroom bound
I have been in the bedroom most of this wet, freezing and windy afternoon. Tackling 32 years of stuff. Quite a lot is going to some friends and quite a lot to the Charity shop on Monday. Trouble is massive clear outs take some time.
I stopped for a little while to have my tea and now it is time to have another bash and clear some more stuff. I think it is going to be a late night. However it will be a job well done.
Right upwards and onwards.

Oh well done. We have tackled the last corner of our bedroom - enlisting the help of Danny and his flat mate to come and shift the very heavy oak wardrobe so I can get in and wield my paintbrush tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteIt will probably take me another couple of days as well. I have two large hanging racks to sort through one of which is to be replaced with two chests of drawers. One I am keeping and then I have two massive solid pine wardrobes to go through as well, plus what is underneath the bed. I have got on quite well this afternoon but am beginning to tire now. I now have a stash of patchwork fabric to get into their storage boxes which are currently downstairs. I am sorting things as I go. I am also finding loads of UFOs. Shame faced here but there is a list gradually developing on how and what to get rid of first. I intend to take sometime over Christmas hopefully whilst watching/listening to TV to tackle some of them and get them out of the way. Fingers crossed. Christmas is not going to be as planned this year but it will be what it is and I will attempt to get some decorations up pretty soon. Glad Danny came to the rescue with his mate. Is a patchwork quilt on the cards for Danny also? Take care. Tricia xxx
