Bit of a Let down
What a grey cold miserable morning it is. Bone chillingly cold. The heating is going on as everywhere feels so damp and him indoors and I have both had the snuffles this week as have a couple of the cats so I think it was about time the heating came on for a little bit.
We were supposed to be going to a re-enactment day - World War II at Holme which is a village outside of Peterborough. We went for the first time last year and it was the one thing I wanted to go to this. We thoroughly enjoyed it last year - went with my step son and his wife. It is on for two days - tomorrow as well so we shall see what the weather is like in the morning and hopefully it will be a tad better. Fingers crossed and toes plaited.
We would have been cold and miserable if we had gone today so best we stay in.
For those of you interested the event is held every year usually the first full weekend in October but here is a link to the website anyway for those of you who would like information on.
So back to the grind housework.
Catch you later on.
