Busy Day

 A little update from yesterday.  The Paramedics took the neighbour to hospital with indication that from her reactions and what she was telling them, they thought that she had broken her hip.  This has been confirmed and she has subsequently had surgery this afternoon to deal with this.  I will find out tomorrow how she has got on, but was just grateful that she was in the safe hands of the medical staff.

I have been in the old Herb garden this morning starting to sort it out and tidy it up.  Only part way there at the moment, but it is looking a lot tidier. Managed to get rid of a lot of rubbish.  G does not have much room in the car at the moment and so he is dropping off a couple of bags here and there to the tip.  I have four bags for him will see if he will take those tomorrow.  Hopefully will get to weeding and tidying the border out tomorrow as well.  Going to try and deal with some each day.  Mint is starting to come up well in the border and I also have to tackle some of the vine stems some of which need cutting out.  There are also a couple of places where I want to pot on parts of the vines so that I can  add them elsewhere in the garden.  There are a couple of bags in the front garden which I am going to take into the back garden and stack up so that G can take a few more bags each day here and then. That will tidy the front garden up.  I am hopeful that G might also be able to tackle the privet hedge in the front as it needs a bit of a haircut. I need the rubbish out  of the way with so that I can continue making progress.  Moving forward I intend to be doing an awful lot in the garden whenever the weather is good.  I also need to sort the growing houses out.

G is fishing again on Thursday and so I will be on my own and also have space on my own again just to be able to get on with what I choose to get on with.  I am a person who needs breathing space.

I do have a couple of options as to what I will do. I intend to do some work in the kitchen as well. I will attempt to do a little more in the garden then as well.  Will see how Missy is.  If she is asleep I may be able to get on outside for a while or in the kitchen.  Weather is looking good continuously until Sunday when rain is forecast at the moment.  Will see what happens.
